A unique home sharing experience.
I’ve approached every detail with love and care. From fixtures to finishes to furnishings, my questions at every turn were “Is it interesting? Would I sleep in this suite? After a long day, is this going to relax me? Does that bring me joy or give me peace? Does it cut across cultural lines? Can anyone from any culture find comfort and ease?”
This home was originally designed for my family to reside in each of the six suites as well as the self contained courtyard crash pad. Then we opened our doors to share with our global framily.
The three parlours are optimal for engagement and entertainment. The Front Parlour is the perfect location to pause and catch up on the day’s events. The Middle Parlour is all about sharing —coffee, snacks, magazines, menus, coupons and of course…the international guestbook! The Back Parlour is for gathering —with a central focus on the library, media and analog game center. Grab an adult coloring book, an autobiography or perhaps keep it light and just flip through a coffee table book. Catch up with the evening news or binge watch guilty tv ...better yet, go for it —grab a deck of question cards and discuss the forbidden hot topics of religion, politics and relationships with other beautiful souls from around the globe.
The Front Porch is my favorite place to sit with a cup of coffee in the early morning listening to the sounds of birds chirping and children heading to school across the street. In the evening, I love to sit with a glass of wine and watch the neighbors commuting home from work or walking their dogs. The elevated porch with its bench and bistro set is the perfect vantage point to watch the world go by. In The Secret Garden out back, you can sit in solitude and mediate under the plum tree. In The Courtyard, why not take your shoes off and feel the ‘Bermuda grass’ between your toes. Up one level you’ll discover yet another outdoor space. This one has alfresco dining under a covered pergola, a bbq grill and a hanging potted garden that overlooks Kingston Avenue. The fourth outdoor space is on the top floor. Here you’ll find an intimate patio where you can catch some rays while catching up on e good book. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Freedom Tower in lower Manhattan.
My family and I reside on property and I am available day and night. All suites include a private bathroom, a flat screen TV, Alexa Echo Dot, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a mini fridge for you to stock with your own snacks and drinks. As proud patrons of creativity, we feature original works made by local and international artists throughout the home.
Would you believe me if I told you that everything that you see is for sale? Guess what…it is! We have partnered with designers, artists and manufacturers to curate a wide variety of furniture and home decor items for you.
We also love experiences. Below are some of our favorite neighborhood businesses and services to give you an intimate and luxurious one of a kind Brooklyn experience.
